The Ministry of Rural Development has launched a nationwide logo design competition on the MyGov portal for the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin Act 2025, inviting citizens to create a visual identity that reflects the goals of inclusive rural development and employment generation.
The initiative aims to engage citizens in designing a creative and impactful logo representing the Viksit Bharat G RAM G Act 2025. The selected design will serve as the official logo of the programme and will be used for publicity and promotional activities associated with the Act across multiple platforms.
According to the ministry, the competition has been organised to encourage public participation and creativity in shaping the identity of a key rural development initiative. Citizens from across the country are invited to submit innovative logo designs that capture the spirit of rural progress, livelihood generation and inclusive growth.
The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of 50000 rupees. The selected logo will become the official emblem of the Viksit Bharat G RAM G Act 2025 and will be used by the Ministry of Rural Development in communication and outreach campaigns related to the programme.
The ministry has clarified that all intellectual property rights of the selected logo will remain with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The ministry will also have the authority to adapt or modify the design as required for official use.
The last date for submission of entries is March 20, 2026. Entries received after the deadline or those not submitted in the prescribed format will not be considered for evaluation.
Participants must register and submit their entries online through the MyGov portal. Each participant is allowed to submit only one logo design for the competition. The ministry has advised participants to ensure that their MyGov profile contains complete and accurate information, including name, email address and mobile number, as entries submitted with incomplete profiles will not be accepted.
All submissions will be reviewed by a committee constituted by the Ministry of Rural Development. The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, visual appeal and usability of the design across different platforms.
The logo should be simple, visually impactful and adaptable for use in print media, digital platforms and mobile applications. Participants must ensure that their designs are completely original and unpublished, and do not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights.
Entries must be submitted in high resolution digital formats such as JPEG, PNG or PDF with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Participants are also required to include a brief description of the concept behind the design in 50 to 100 words explaining the idea and inspiration for the logo.
The Viksit Bharat G RAM G Act 2025 is designed to expand livelihood opportunities in rural India. The legislation increases the statutory guarantee of wage employment for rural households from 100 days to 125 days in a financial year. In addition to enhancing employment guarantees, the Act aims to strengthen service delivery through empowerment, convergence of schemes and inclusive development strategies.
Officials said the Act represents an important step toward building a prosperous, capable and self reliant rural economy by creating sustainable employment opportunities and improving rural livelihoods.
The logo competition is expected to attract participation from designers, students and creative professionals across the country, offering citizens an opportunity to contribute to the visual identity of a major rural development initiative.
