Bharat 2026 Reference Annual Released With New Design

The Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has released the latest edition of its flagship reference publication Bharat 2026 A Reference Annual in both English and Hindi with a redesigned four colour format and updated information.

Principal Director General Publications Division Bhupendra Kainthola released the new edition in New Delhi in the presence of senior members of the editorial and production team of the Publications Division.

New Design And Improved Readability

The Bharat 2026 A Reference Annual introduces significant improvements in design and presentation. For the first time the entire book has been printed in four colours.

Different sections and chapters have been presented using distinct colour coding to make the publication more reader friendly and easier to navigate.

The updated edition also includes colour photographs infographics and improved visual presentation to enhance the reading experience.

Officials said the publication has been designed with a modern layout and updated data to increase its usefulness as a reliable reference source for readers researchers and students.

Despite the improved design and upgraded production quality the price of the publication has been kept unchanged compared with the previous year’s edition in order to maintain accessibility for a wide readership.

The Bharat Reference Annual has long been recognised as one of the most authoritative publications providing comprehensive information about India.

Speaking at the release event Principal Director General Publications Division Bhupendra Kainthola appreciated the editorial production and design teams involved in preparing the new edition.

Bhupendra Kainthola acknowledged the extensive effort required to collect and compile information from multiple sources for the reference annual.

He said that meticulous editorial work is essential to refine and harmonise the collected material so that the facts presented in the publication remain accurate consistent and complementary.

Bhupendra Kainthola also commended the allied staff for their contribution to the preparation and production of the book.

Bhupendra Kainthola said that reference publications such as Bharat A Reference Annual play an important role in presenting the policies programmes and achievements of the Government of India.

The release event was attended by several members of the editorial and production team associated with the publication.

Those present included Joint Director Publications Division Hamid Hussain, Chief Editor Kulshrestha Kamal, Business Manager Incharge Ismeet Kaur and Editor Hindi Edition Seema Rani along with other members of the editorial and production staff.

Officials said that with its updated content contemporary design and authoritative information Bharat 2026 A Reference Annual is expected to remain an important reference resource for readers scholars and researchers.
