Aahar Trade Show Draws Record Participation And Industry Engagement

AAHAR 2026 concluded at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi with record participation from exhibitors and business visitors, reinforcing its position as one of Asia’s leading trade platforms for the food and hospitality industry. Jawed Ashraf, Chairman of India Trade Promotion Organisation, said the event successfully promoted brand visibility, business generation and industry networking across the sector.

The 40th edition of the international trade fair, organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation in collaboration with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and several leading industry associations, attracted more than 1.25 lakh exhibitors and business visitors from India and abroad.

The five day event from March 10 to March 14 witnessed significant engagement through buyer seller meetings, product showcases and networking sessions across segments of processed foods, hospitality equipment, dairy, bakery, confectionery and allied industries.

Jawed Ashraf congratulated the award winners and expressed confidence that the next edition of the event would be organised at an even larger scale as the second phase of the redevelopment plan of Bharat Mandapam begins soon. He noted that Italy participated as the partner country this year and said more countries are expected to participate with the same status in the next edition.

He also highlighted the growing use of digital platforms during the exhibition, stating that the mobile application of the fair registered more than 17,000 downloads and facilitated around 2,800 business meetings during the event.

During the closing ceremony, Jawed Ashraf presented Awards for Excellence in Display to exhibitors across several categories. Kenneth Félix Haczynski da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil in New Delhi, also addressed the gathering.

The next edition of the exhibition, AAHAR 2027, will be held from March 2 to March 6 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
