AYUSHEXCIL And Zepto Partner To Expand Digital Access To Authentic Ayush Products

In a significant step towards strengthening the digital outreach of India’s traditional healthcare systems, the Ministry of AYUSH will facilitate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ayush Export Promotion Council and Zepto Limited on 28 January 2026 in New Delhi. The collaboration aims to promote easy online access to authentic and quality-assured AYUSH medicines and wellness products through verified digital channels.

The MoU signing ceremony will be presided over by Union Minister of AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav in the presence of Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha. The agreement will be formally signed by Anurag Sharma, Chairman of the Ayush Export Promotion Council, and Kaivalya Vohra, Co-Founder of Zepto.

The partnership is designed to create a structured and credible digital framework that integrates traditional Indian systems of medicine with modern quick commerce platforms. By leveraging Zepto’s growing digital reach and logistics network, the initiative seeks to enhance consumer confidence, ensure product authenticity and improve market access for AYUSH manufacturers, particularly micro, small and medium enterprises.

Under the MoU, a dedicated AYUSH storefront will be created on Zepto’s platform, allowing consumers to conveniently access verified AYUSH products. Emphasis will be placed on compliance with the AYUSH Quality Mark to ensure certified standards, safety and authenticity. AYUSHEXCIL will identify eligible AYUSH manufacturers, with a special focus on MSMEs, for onboarding onto the platform.

The collaboration also предусматри joint consumer awareness initiatives aimed at promoting responsible use of AYUSH products and disseminating authentic, evidence-based information. Educational and informational content on AYUSH systems, validated by AYUSHEXCIL, will be hosted on Zepto’s digital platform to improve public understanding and trust.

Officials said the initiative will empower AYUSH entrepreneurs by enabling them to tap into India’s rapidly expanding digital marketplace, while ensuring that consumers across the country have access to trustworthy and quality-assured traditional healthcare products. The partnership supports the Ministry of AYUSH’s broader vision of positioning AYUSH as a globally recognised health and wellness system.

The MoU also aligns with the government’s wider priorities under Digital India, Ease of Doing Business and Make in India, reinforcing efforts to modernise traditional sectors through technology-led solutions and responsible digital integration.
