MSDE Republic Day Tableau Showcases Yuva Shakti Driving Indias Skill Led Transformation

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will present a compelling tableau titled “Powered by Skills Building a Self Reliant Future Ready India” at the Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path, celebrating the central role of skills and youth power in shaping a Viksit Bharat. The tableau will narrate India’s journey towards self reliance through large scale skilling, innovation and inclusive growth, with Yuva Shakti at its core.

A prominent highlight of the tableau is the presence of All India toppers from Industrial Training Institutes who were felicitated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh 2025. Their participation symbolises the growing recognition of skill based education as a pillar of national development. The display also reflects India’s rising stature on global skill platforms, with recent medals and Medallions of Excellence secured by the Ministry at the WorldSkills Asia Competition held in Taipei in 2025, underscoring India’s competitiveness in high end and future oriented skills.

The tableau places strong emphasis on inclusive development, depicting women and men training together across sectors. Women trainees in non traditional and technology driven roles highlight the expanding scope of women led economic growth and increasing participation in emerging industries. The visual narrative reinforces the idea that Kartavya Path has also become Kaushal Path, from where India’s youth led journey towards a developed nation moves forward.

Future ready domains including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, electric mobility and semiconductors form the centrepiece of the tableau, signalling India’s preparedness for the evolving world of work. The Ministry’s SOAR Skilling for AI Readiness programme, which offers free government led AI courses for all, is showcased as a key initiative equipping youth for AI enabled roles and positioning India to lead the global AI revolution.

Traditional artisans and craftspeople are depicted alongside modern technologists, reflecting the spirit of Aatmanirbharta where heritage skills and new age capabilities advance together. At the heart of the tableau stands a symbolic human brain representing creativity, critical thinking and analytical skills, flanked by two interlocked hands that signify the government industry partnership strengthened through PM SETU, the ambitious ITI upgradation scheme modernising 1,000 Government ITIs. The tableau also highlights the role of ITIs in training Agniveers, ensuring they emerge as disciplined, technically skilled youth prepared for national service and meaningful careers beyond.

Together, the MSDE tableau conveys a unified national vision where skills power development, innovation creates opportunity and youth lead India’s march towards Viksit Bharat.
