Renowned personalities to attend Delhi University Literature Festival says Culture Council Chairperson Anoop Lather

Preparations for the festival are in full swing; Anoop Lather provided the information after a meeting with various committees

Preparations are in full swing for the grand literature festival being organized for the first time by University of Delhi. More than 50 speakers are expected to attend this three-day event, while the participation of lakhs of students will make the festival memorable. This information was given by Anoop Lather, Chairperson of the DU Culture Council and Vice-Chairperson & Convener of the Delhi University Literature Festival Core Committee. He said that meetings have been held with various committees regarding the preparations. According to the information received, all the committees have largely completed their preparations. All committees are working according to their roles, responsibilities and timelines.
Anoop Lather informed that the speakers at this three-day literature festival will include Ram Madhav, Vijay Chauthaiwale, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajat Sharma, Khan Sir (Competitive Exams Educator), Priyanka Sharma Kaintura (Spiritual and Devi), Piyush Mishra, Shubhra Ranjan (Competitive Exams Educator), David Frawley (Vedic Scholar), Mona Sriniwas Pruthi (UPSC AIR 1 2005; former DU lecturer), Influencer Ankur Warikoo, Hindol Sengupta (Author IR/Sardar Patel), Anjana Om Kashyap, Uday S. Kulkarni (Indian History), Rakhi Kapoor (mental health), His Grace Chanchalapati Dasa (Vice President of ISKCON Bangalore), Uday Mahurkar (Indian History, Former CIC), Dr Neena Verma (Leadership; Well-being), Anand Narsimhan (Journalist), Prafulla Ketkar (Organiser), Dinesh Mohan (Actor and a mental health activist), Rubika Liaqat (News 18 India), K. K. Muhammad (Architecture), Sudhanshu Trivedi, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Aabhas Maldahiyar (Architecture), Amitabh Agnihotri (Formerly TV9), Rahul Shivshankar (News 18 CNN), Disha Ahluwalia (History and Architecture), Sandeep Balakrishna (History) and Neelesh Kulkarni (Author/Theatre Voiceover Artist) have confirmed their participation.
He informed that cultural evenings will be organized on all three days of the festival, featuring a Kavi Sammelan on the first day, Bhajan Clubbing on the second day, and tribal & folk dances from various states on the third day. It is noteworthy that the Delhi University Literature Festival will be held from February 12, 2026, to February 14, 2026. The festival’s convener, Anoop Lather stated that this is the first literature festival of DU and will be unique in itself. Book launches and book discussions will also be organized during the festival. He further added that, as per the instructions of DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, the central theme of this literature festival will be Nation First.
