PM Vishwakarma artisans showcase skills at three day exhibition in New Delhi

MSME Development Facilitation Office Okhla organised a three day PM Vishwakarma Exhibition cum Fair from February 27 to March 1, 2026 at Bangia Samaj Bhavan in C R Park, New Delhi, providing a dedicated platform for artisans to showcase their craftsmanship and expand market linkages.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Danish Ashraf, Joint Development Commissioner, Office of Development Commissioner MSME, New Delhi.

More than 50 PM Vishwakarma artisans representing diverse traditional trades participated in the fair, displaying a wide range of handcrafted products. The event recorded encouraging footfall from buyers, local residents and other stakeholders, enabling artisans to interact directly with customers and explore potential business opportunities.

Alongside product display and on the spot sales, a series of technical sessions were organised during the exhibition. Experts delivered detailed presentations on onboarding to the Government e Marketplace, barcode registration, trademark filing and effective use of e marketing platforms to enhance business visibility. The sessions were aimed at equipping artisans with practical knowledge related to formalisation, branding and digital marketing strategies.

The three day fair functioned as a convergence platform by combining exhibition, capacity building and networking. It reinforced the government’s focus on promoting traditional skills under the PM Vishwakarma scheme while strengthening sustainable livelihood opportunities for artisans through improved access to markets and institutional support.
